Hi, I mentioned this a while back and I'm just looking at it now. It does let a little water through, the passenger one is super strong, so the drivers is obviously blocked. Looking under the bonnet, I pulled the washer jet hose off where it joins another hose which disappears behind the black soundproofing on the underside of the bonnet. The water jet comes out perfectly, so the blockage is in the last piece of the hose that connects to the water exit to the windscreen. The soundproofing has black grommets, I only need to remove one to get to what I want to, it does not screw off and I have tried pulling it off, but it's not easy....is it a case of pulling harder and it will come out, or will I break the black plastic grommet ? Thanks

I think that those are of the 'fir tree' type Bobby: They usually just pull out but can be tough to move unless you can get something under them and lever out.

Got spare clips off eBay, as some snapped. If you look at the attached thread from Ravworld, this is exactly what I have done. The item in the Toyota packet just does not work, I have blown in through, soaked it in warm soapy what, but still does not let the water through properly to the driver's windshield jet. So how much is Mr T going to charge me for such a small cheap item ? www.rav4world.com/threads/weak-windshield-washer-fix.246914/

New part fitted, all good and works perfectly. Parts guy says these always block and brake...however I do know that they are still using the exact same part in the Mark 4, not sure about the others after that !!
