Hi, I'm a new member and looking to buy the above rear bumper. Does anyone have such an item please? Keen to keep my Mk1 going owned it from 2004 - the looney that went up the back of me this morning in rainy Dorset isn't helping !! Many thanks, Ravioli.

:welcome: to the club :TU: Sorry to hear of your woes. Others will be along with advice but, in the meantime, how badly is the bumper damaged? Have you looked on ebay?

Hi Guys - Thank you for your welcome, I appreciate that. Damage sufficient to require new bumper. Hole in it now, and a lot of scarring. I have had the car inspected for underside structural damage - you know the answer ! these cars were built to be strong !! This one belonged to Cliff Richard's accountant when new - you might imagine I don't tell everyone that !

Sorry- forgot to confirm.I have located a bumper at £192., seems excessive but the older Mk's are rarer and therefore seem to command a premium in price from the breakers !
Need to get the perpetrator to cough up - reluctant to go the insurance route as they will eagerly write the car off, given age, regardless of immaculate condition and only 145k miles for a 1996 - 25yrs, she is in perfect condition !!
Thank you all.

I'm thinking that £192 bumper is akin to Unicorn poo so, unless someone here does actually have one, may be best to snap it up.
