It depends on Bottas if Lewis Hamiliton seals up the championship this weekend I reckon.
Lewis will win assuming his car doesn't break, and so be at the very worst 74 points ahead with 75 points maximum available left in the season. If that happens, Seb Vettel will need to win the next 3 races and hope Lewis doesn't finish in the top 10 in any of them.
If Bottas cannot get 2nd place to stop Vettel getting it on a track which is a Mercedes stronghold, then I think it is time he was replaced by a stronger contender next year rather than hanging on in 2019 - a contender such as Esteban Ocan (who I think personally should have got the drive in the first place anyway).
While Lewis Hamilton is doing all the car will allow and often more, Bottas' results are really only down to the car and not any outstanding talent (sure, he is a good driver, no doubt about that, but he is not performing any better than many other drivers on the grid would do so in the same seat). If Lewis's results are flattered by Vettels mistakes as many say, how come those mistakes never really seem to advantage the other Mercedes Driver, or the other Ferrari Driver? Could it be that it is only Lewis that is pressurising him to over-extend himself? (which is part of being a top driver - driving your own race and pushing another driver to - and past -their limit.

Just sitting down for the qualifying ...looks like it’s going to be dry so wouldn’t put a bet on the pole sitter today 🤔🤔

It would suit Ferrari, Vettel and possibly F1 / F1 fans if Lewis didn't finish in the points today so that the gap closed up and there was greater 'excitement' over the rest of the season. Kimi is alongside Lewis on the front row and the Ferrari tends to get off the line quite quickly. There couldn't possibly be a coming together on the first corner could there ... ?

I guess Lewis has a lot more to loose than Kimi does. I guess have to watch to see if the Mute Finn is wearing a Mad Max Vestappen mask when he walks to his car
