The old PCV valve out and replaced with the new one. Well done...easy job to do and is overlooked during servicing it may make no different to the smoke but better to do it before ripping the cylinder head off and doing the valve stem seals in case it was causing pressure build up problems 👍🏻

I thought PCV was a licence to drive a bus ? That’s correct ...you turn up at the bus company hand over the PCV valve over the counter and they give you the keys to any bus 😉😉

I’ve always fancied a go in one or those Routemasters... Seriously though when I was a young un I had a Hackney licence. I used to help my old step dad out punting round Ford Cortinas and Granada’s... Had 3 jobs back then mind 👍👍👍

Well I waited till Mrs P got home before I started the Rav up after fitting the PCV and not a single poof of smoke came from the exhaust even after revving it a little, and that was from not been started since Monday. So went a short trip down the local tip to rid of the garden waste and Mrs P finally said it felt better, smoother and quieter which I thought as well,so whether it's just our imaginations or the PCV valve is doing summat better. Got back and checked again and nothing from the exhaust at all :TU:

Use to replace them on every service years ago when I worked in the motor trade in the 80’s and 90’s 👍🏻 For you It was a cheap option and looks like it’s worked 😎
