Call me pickey but why reflash the ECU after the box has lunched itself? I would think the damage is done...bad ECU left on the car too long and has damaged the gearbox, probably been told an ECU may of fixed the problem but the trouble now is does someone replace the box or try another ECU to be sure 🤔🤔

That engine bay is not a 23k miles engine bay, and check the brake fluid behind the (correctlly dark) power steering fluid.....it looks like a Guinness shandy.........not for me fanchoo.

From my perspective the engine bay looks dusty and cosmetic (would enjoy cleaning that up to my standard ) 😉 ...but rust could a problem due to its coastal location, brake fluid is very dark and could come under the new mot failure regs , pas fluid tends to look like that on older Toyota’s , did change the fluid in my reservoir on the blue Rav4 but still looked the same colour afterwards ☹️Cars worth a look but close inspection to the underside and a peak at the fuel filler pipe if possible 👍🏻
