I'm constantly having to keep air con on on windscreen as it is always misting up on the inside. Particularly on these damp cool mornings.
I do press the windscreen button first thing , once there's some heat from the blower it's better. I know the air con takes any damp from the interior.
But I'm resorting to ' autoglyming ' the inside to try to stop it misting with car glass polish.
Do this quite regularly now.
It's not as bad as can't see though it , but I seem to remember my old 4.2 air went through the filter first ?

Moisture in the car invariably end up on the screen. Could be a slight leak into the cab or wet or damp mats from boots and so on. Deal with that first rather than mask the problem.

You can introduce a lot of moisture to the car just by driving in a wet coat. In my experience, a decent run with the AC on will generally sort things out ( ideally after you've got rid of the wet coat! ). Have to say, the pollen filter has had a bit of a bashing this summer with the dry dusty weather - must change it - so thanks for the reminder BK

Thanks all ,will obtain a filter from local Mr t after work this morning.
I never leave anything wet or damp in the car , just because I prefer to clean & dry off my gear before I store it.
Cheers 👍

Also no harm in setting your preferred tempy rature then pressing AUTO button.......that way air con is on "in the background" to help maintain your chosen comfort setting, and drying away any weather or human induced moisture.
Koffs has advocated that hereon and on his Mazda forum many times.

I keep the air conditioning on all the time and that helps.

carpets at front wet?? I had that bother when the windscreen was leaking. Or move to a damper climate like West of Scotland where everyone enjoys misting windscreens - hence the low life expectancy in Glasgow.

Carpets are fine , Mr t didn't have a filter today. So ordered genuine one from Mr A online , looked at mine today; cleared it out and it's very dark grey.

I find the bits that get trapped in that filter amazing - leaves, feathers, dead insects - you name it! A new one is definitely the best option Jamie but your DIY cleanout should help a fair bit.
