I should have taken a picture for this and saved myself a thousand words, or quite a few; anyway on my 2005 3 door the engine cover/s (there seems to be 2 sections) where they meet the bottom/rear edge of the front bumper there are holes for fasteners. I don't seem to have a single one! It all seems pretty safe though, bit rattley but not really loose.
Is there anywhere I can get these online? (local Toyota is w**k). Anyone know what they look like? Are they the 'click in' type or threaded?

They look a bit like this if not snapped threaded bolts or self tappers . www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20x-Lexus-Toyota-Plastic-Clips-Engine-Bay-Covers-Shields-90467-07201-7mm-/332573979223They use 3 types of fastener from side to side , push clips, self tappers and shanked and straight threaded bolts .

Cheers. I've got a bunch of those click in type somewhere, plus I've got various big self tappers so I'll use a mixture of those and maybe order a few of the ebay ones, cheap enough.

If the plastic underbelly shields have no fixing across the front edge ..they are bolts and have all been snapped off ! I took my panels off for cleaning the other week and broke one bolt out of the 5 but drilled and retapped it 👍🏻👍🏻
