Toyota dropped the ball on a small detail on the 3 door 4.2 ! The 4.1 3 door had a support rod that clipped into the bottom of the seats to hold them up …sadly not an option on the 4.2 ☹️ Lucky I had a pair of trainer laces in the glovebox 😉

Hi Bob. The rear seats in ours stand up on their own, they click into position and you pull that strap to release them?

Hi Bob. The rear seats in ours stand up on their own, they click into position and you pull that strap to release them? I need the front seat fully back for my 6ft1" frame, so that could be why the rear seats don’t lock ..in the up position 👍🏻

I usually have them folded down or if brave, take them out.

Rather shameful on my part not having cleaned the cars for a good two months 😞, notice some moss growing from a few areas that don’t see direct sunlight ! So into car cleaning and polishing mode today …..pleased with my efforts 😎

Thanks Jase…black is a tricky colour to keep clean but worth the couple of hours I put in today.

Thanks Jase…black is a tricky colour to keep clean but worth the couple of hours I put in today. Black is the devil incarnate of car colours. Looks brilliant for the 10 minutes between drying and the next rain/driving it. Thereafter it’s a complete barstool. 😡

Thanks Jase…black is a tricky colour to keep clean but worth the couple of hours I put in today. Mine is ( Astral ) black as well Bob - but I also like the colour of Davravs. I don't think that anything like it is available these days unfortunately.
