Bob, what are the essential questions I should ask if considering buying one from WCVC ? Well until I see mine on the drive I can’t be sure but they seem to go through them with a fine tooth comb, and between what they check, plus 12 month mot and a Toyota dealer service it should be spot on .

The underside looks good for 100k but will be giving it a going over with rust prevention and paint the suspension gloss black 👍🏻

Very nice, Bob. Very good health to enjoy it!! WCVC seems to have cornered the market in RAVs, especially 4.2s. The guy did tell me when we bought ours that they concentrated on them because they could sell them all day long with little or no fear of any comeback, hence the automatic 12-month warranty even on the highest mileage ones. Spoke to the sales lads father today who is now semi retired, he said the way the market is going they may start buying the 3 door Auto’s in average condition and carry out restorations as they are more popular than ever. Warrenty is unusual as not a third-party but from themselves . That's interesting re the warranty. Ours was a third party one with Data Law, not that we needed it, mind. Presumably with theirs you don't have to take it back to Honiton if any work is required?

The warranty he said take it to local garage or Toyota and they will pay the bill ...he said he knows the RAV4 product and is confident it will be trouble free 🤔
During the negotiations I noted the mot advised couple of chips on the windscreen close to the sweep area...they said a new screen would be fitted 👍🏻

I did mention the club several times and that other members had purchased from them and very pleased, I feel this is just their standard of customer service.....I’ll know after Monday 👍🏻

Well the RAV4’s on the drive sadly it got rather dirty on its 185 miles trip up from the west county, so not worthy of a photo just yet 👍🏻👍🏻 Took it out for a test drive and it was no different from the 22k Mileage I had 6/7 years ago .......pleased with my purchase and the wife is over the moon to have a 3 door again 😎

Wheels off today to inspect the brakes, my opinion on pad thickness won’t be the same as the dealer selling it ! While the wheels are off I’ll fit the mudflaps and maybe inspect the fuel filler pipe and give that a lick of paint 👍🏻 Put the RAV4 on SORN until August so have a few days while it sits quietly on the drive 👍🏻 Observation......Black looks rough when dirty but I’ll have to get use to that 😉. Have a pair of DENSO wipers in the shed they are 24 & 20" not sure they will fit the RAV4 ...anyone remember the sizes ?
