Hello everyone im building my top end on my rav4.. new head. valves. stem seals, etc . This is the 16 valve model with twin cams! Now does any one have a great picture or info on lining the cams up together ? I can see the dots on the sprockets but they is 2 dots on each cam! Really done want to get this bit wrong ,cheers guys

Hello chaps thank so much for your feed back.. Im ok with the timing belt pulleys marks! Its the Cams im having trouble with. both cams are out of the head i have bought.I need to make sure i have the inlet cam in the right position?

You’ve lost me. The timing belt sprockets will only go on in one position so if you time the belt you timed the camshaft.

16 valve engine two cams exhaust cam no problem, intake valve cam needs to be in right time with exhaust cam?
