Rav done this afternoon the the dips were a bitch, especially the drivers, had to take off the expansion tank & the washer fluid filler to get there & then I'm still not convinced it's clicked into place correctly. Not sure if they were original ones in there but they all looked the same Philips brand but not sure Toyota would have used Philips.
Toyota DID indeed use Philips bulbs. Meant to say that you can remove the washer bottle neck fixing stud and bend it back to gain access to driver’s side bulbs, but those stiffening crossmembers RIGHT ON TOP of the bliddy lights are a total pain. In my current anaemic state, I bruised Friar Tuck out the back of my hands. Sorry.....important wee check.....did the wee neoprene washers from the OLD bulbs deffo come away WITH the old bulbs.....? If they are left behind, the new bulb rubber washers will never seat properfully.

OK, so 2 x H11 and 2 x HB3 arrived today at all in cost of £48.98 from that Amazon. Notice longevity is rated at half that of standard bulbs so, does that mean that I can expect at least five and a half years from them before I have to put the originals back in?

Any of the "brighter bulbs" in any of the vehicles I've had, have tended to pop after 12 to 18 months. Probably 12,000 to 18,000 miles. You do the "math(s)". Generally thinner filament => shorter life => brighter filament bulb.
