Jamie are you doing a p/x with the Yaris hybrid ? Yes Bob, almost £13k for the Yaris. It's a bit of a knock , but I knew there would be. It's so worth it though , after i drove this for less than a mile it made me smile. Took it for a half hour drive , around constable country ( after the painter John Constable ) Everything just felt right about it. Tbh.... I had a little weep. God I'm a softy.

Good choice, Jamie. Mitsubishis are robust and very reliable. You won't be disappointed . Just a pity that they've joined the Nissan-Renault alliance. Another good Japanese brand infected with Regie's DNA . At least the current models will be OK. When do you get it? Next Thursday evening , obviously all the stickers will be removed.. etc etc. Nice looking car in a good colour and chrome parts.

Well done Jamie glad you've settled on the car that feels right for you :TU: Thanks Paul, I was struggling and worrying with the Yaris heading towards winter. It's only 10 miles home from work, but last year in the beast from the east I was so glad of the Rav4. 6" of snow... and ploughing through snow drifts... it did it. So something had to replace it. Couldn't afford a new Rav4, but this Mitsi is a lovely colour , great styling , 4wd and so comfortable to drive. Just a shame Toyota couldn't supply what I needed. Still - it'l be a fresh start with a different manufacturer. It feels good 😊👍

HUD is a no-brainer, brilliant.
The new Rav is crazily priced. I wanted to replace mine with the new car but when I saw it in the flesh it was too big, too ugly and too ££pricey. Not as if it feels particularly special inside either.
Had a couple of Evos back in the noughties. Strong cars but rust killed Mitsubishis back then - probably much better these days. 5 years warranty??

Yep... the Mitsi has the remainder of the 5 years warranty. Which gives me peace of mind too. Tbh.. I didn't even want a turbo on board but with that Warranty I'm happy. And that HUD is quite smart, but too flashy really.

I had a proper look at the one down the lane while walking the dog this morning.. It looked really nice. Proper chunky business like look to it.
I still like the Shogun. There is a 16 plate lowing mileage one on Ebay. 3.2 diesel with ivory leather and lots of toys. Nice motor ...

Only downside is the service costs. Definitely not cheap but absolutely everything is covered none of this, "would sir like the brake fluid looked at or the cabin filter changed?" There are no optional items in the dealer's Shogun service schedule

I'd always looked at Mitsubishi in the past but never bought. Bit like Suzuki, but looking in the Mits showroom- all 4wd's Says something.

It is a modern design and comes with MMC's reliability and excellent customer service. The Shogun is an old school 4x4 (& all the better for that) so it needs a different servicing regime.
