Thanks Bob but I had put an offer on a genuine unused in the box Toyota one on good old ebay and it was accepted today so will have that to fit :TU: Any idea how to get at the lower light?

Never taken one off before but an educated guess would be from behind , either through the arch liner or by removing the under Belly shield .

Only one way to find out Paul Shame the guy in the video was too hamfisted to align and seat the fog light accurately though.

Yep your correct David so I did and i'm pleased to say it worked  and the best thing was I didn't have to lay on my back. Only trouble is I've gotta wait for the replacement now

Boy, talk about feeling like a jerk! That's got to be one of the easiest fixes ever. You've lucked out with that one, Paul. :TU:

Well after looking at the video for the later model round fog lights Jim i'd have thought there would have been some removal of panels and wheel and i'm still not sure if this is the correct way to get it out but can't see any other way?? I take it the rusty adjustable screw is to align the light??
