Jeeezus, they had a load of chances but didn't take them. I'm in the "watch if it's an England game" camp, but here in Spain the bars were heaving with "supporters" last night, great atmosphere, but mostly there for the beer!!!

I thought it was a very decent performance by England last night. The Referreeing was a total joke though and I felt was very biased - which the VR should have, I would thought, eliminated?

was in tears at the end of that game.... what were Tunisia thinking?  Rarely watch football... and never watch cricket but fell about laughing after Scotland beat England at cricket of all things! The cricket season in Scotland only lasts 3 days after all. Na, my preferred sport is rugby - when guys get thumped stupid but just get up and carry on cos they need to + no talking back to the ref otherwise yellow carded.... and the ref ignores diving as a joke. Oh, and, um, tennis. Wonder why? |

Sadly our local bar here is closed on Tuesdays, so the neighbours are coming to watch it here on the big telly!! Sorry to be defeatist but I think the Colombian fans (who out number us 3-1 may out chant and out play us. Still, not a bad run for a young team, my prediction, 2-1, but hope I'm wrong!!  |
