Let's hope the vaccine rollout doesn't come up with too many glitches. Bound to be a few and of course the News likes to focus on the stumbles more than the leaps.
I don't tend to see the effect of the Lockdown around my area, not because people are ignoring it but I don't tend to go anywhere very much anyway and when I do it is such a quiet area that 3 cars in a row constitutes a Traffic Jam.

My uncle has just died from it so it is getting close to home. Hopefully the vaccine will be the game changer we need and then we won't need tiers or lockdown. So sorry to hear that David it’s all becoming rather close for many of us, with the loss of my brother in law to the virus at Christmas😕 ....thinking of you and your family at this upsetting time .
Sad news, with respect to anyone who succumbs to it. Condolences.

Sadly until the friends and reletives of the idiots out there who think the rules are just for other people start getting critically ill and dying, they aren't going to take any notice, even then it will be the NHS, government, french, Chinese and aliens fault before they start realizing that their stupidity might have somthing to do with it.

Sadly true. We walk everyday, and during Christmas the amount of people going into other people's houses, or walking with a bottle of wine (guess where to) was staggering !

Sorry to hear that David.
My sister and her family in Colchester all have it. Half of our customers have it, half of our staff's mum's & dad's have it.
It's like wildfire in Colchester.
Me & ma are ok at the moment.
But I worry about her in her mid 70's but she's reasonably healthy... walks a lot still.

A friend phoned for a chat today.... He spent twenty minutes moaning and condemning folk for breaking the rules.
He then told me he got done for speeding yesterday as he and his son ( who lives 10 miles from him ) were driving through Kidderminster to pick up some cycle parts. Kidderminster is 20 miles from his house. He then told me he was waiting at home for another bloke to pick up a cycle he’d built.
The language and words I used were not those befitting a gentleman...... Thick doesn't begin to cover it.

Apparently Wyre Forest police were pulling over people in Kidderminster yesterday so he was lucky not to have been fined for being a tosser as well as an idiot speeding.

The fella smokes his way through by his admission £120 a week. He can’t walk 100 yards without puffing and panting like a worn out pit pony. I in my subtle terms asked him if he thinks he would survive covid which wreekd havoc to the respiratory systems. His answer was it’s his life. Again with my usual subtlety IE ZERO I pointed out he has a far king family to think about. Words seldom fail me but I struggled to by by the cringe I did.

We've just had an email at work , our CEO has had a letter from the government. Construction , supply chain & manufacturing must continue - nationally , it's been put as essential.
In the safest way etc.
