{CLICK HERE FOR SPOILER} It should be interesting - especially if wet. The pink Mercedes seems to be working on this track while the black Mercedes doesn't. But I rather doubt that Lewis will be generating the excitement - I suspect that he'll be focused on finishing, preferably ahead of Valtteri, to secure the driver's title rather than necessarily on another race win or podium. I would have thought the same very unpredictable! I'm looking forward to the highlights this afternoon to see just how wrong I could be!

Tricky conditions and the track was too green to be any good in the wet ...oddly they had no other racing going on just the F1, so the track had even less chance of rubbering in . Few surprises of good drivers been weak at the start ...then strong at the end ...great outcome 😎😎

So Chris Hoy is Sir Chris Hoy after winning a bunch of gold medals Mo Farah is Sir Mo Farah after winning a couple of long distance races Bradley Wiggins is Sir Brad after winning the Tour de France once.
Will Lewis Hamilton be Sir Lewis Hamilton after winning more races than anyone once in F1, more Pole Positions than anyone else, more than twice as many Championships than any other Brit. What about paying tax, people ask? Well, he pays more tax than anyone asking that question and despite living outside the UK, is in the highest 5,000 UK Tax Payers and so a lot lot more than 10's of millions of UK Tax Payers.
I can't imagine in these current times of heightened racial awareness and BLM that he dared be deny this overdue sporting acknowledgement.
Should sporting achievements warrant Knighthoods? Who knows, but if Hoy, Farah, Wiggins, plus countless other athletes be awarded them for a couple of Olympics, then surely someone who has been above everyone in the pinnacle of his chosen sport for 7 years out of his career, and in the top 3 in the world for nearly all of his career in that sport be given the same recognition?

The worst part about this is if you had posted this 10 years ago I would have said what are you talking about, but in this new climate of racial hatred where people are even boycotting sainsbury's because they had the ordasity to use a black family in their adverts, I don't know, sad the way things are going.

I can't see any reason why Lewis won't join the list of sporting knights and dames in due course - it is difficult to imagine that he hasn't earned that honour for "services to motorsport". But the honour is normally conferred at the end of a sportsperson's career - just look at poor old Sir Andy Murray, knighted in 2017 and hasn't won a game of tennis since (OK that's not entirely true) - and Lewis was saying only this weekend that he has more to do yet ...

I say hold off with the knighthood until Lewis beats Schumacher’s record next year ......then he can retire 👍🏻👍🏻

Well he’s deserved it but would have liked to have seem him beat Schumacher’s record first 👍🏻 He has. Same as if two teams finish with equal points, whoever gets better Goal Difference wins - and if THAT is equal, whoever scored the most goals wins. Lewis is equal on Championships with Michael, but has more Wins (in F1, when equal on points, driver with most wins gets the title), as well as more Pole Positions, a greater winning percentage of wins/per race (around 1 in 3!) and higher average points/race (once systems equalised). On just about every counting method you can think of, Lewis is easily the most successful driver in the 'modern' (post 1960's) era - before that, the way drivers could take over other cars, even mid-race, means some records like Fangio's were a bit dubious.

This weekends race might be interesting as Hamilton is on the bench due to a positive covid test.
Who is Mercedes spare driver?
